I’m a freelance video journalist based in Rio de Janeiro. I’m French but my camera and I gallivanted quite a bit across Europe and Latin America before landing in Brazil. Having lived in Lisbon, Portugal, for three years, I speak Portuguese as well as Spanish.

Until August, I worked as a video journalist for Agence France-Presse in Montevideo, Uruguay, and have covered breaking news in Latin America for the past two years, including the presidential election in Argentina, Obama’s historic visit to Cuba, the political crisis in Brazil, as well as the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Along the way, I've learned how to make a perfect cup of boiling-hot Uruguayan mate… and a thing or two about reporting for an international audience in all sorts of circumstances.

Before joining AFPTV as a reporter in Paris, I was a field producer for the public channel France 3 for two years.

Happy watching!
